Marshall Football Team Report (Yahoo! Sports)
Tue, 18 Nov 2008 22:37:15 PST-

Even though Marshall Football has dropped five of its last six games, sophomore running back Darius Marshall Football is working harder than ever.

"Coach always says, 'When adversity sets in, you've got to do something,'" he told the Huntington Herald-Dispatch. "And right now, we're under a lot of adversity because we have to win two games if we want to go bowling.

"I see it as motivation to us in the locker room. We know what we have to do as a team to get back on top and we just look forward to coming in the next two weeks and working hard."

Marshall, who is third in the conference in rushing (88.3 yards per game) and second in kickoff returns (28.2-yard average), leads the Thundering Herd (4-6, 3-3 C-USA) against Rice on Saturday.
